Residents can drive or walk to S. Second Street, between Main Street and Commonwealth, behind Alhambra High School to get the free nasal swab.
The farmers market is open from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Sunday, except Easter, on South Second Street between Commonwealth and Main Street.
The testing site, located on South Second Street, south of Main across from Alhambra High School, will be open BY APPOINTMENT ONLY, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday from May 4 to May 29, as long as supplies last.
Mark Keppel, Alhambra, and San Gabriel finished with 60, 68, and 35 medals, respectively. Keppel walked away with the highest Division I honors, ranking first in both overall scores (48,103.7) and Super Quiz (5,600). They also made LA County ACADECA history by becoming the first school with a combined score of over 100,000 points between their A and B teams.
During 50 years of tax preparation, Alhambra Tax Center has done tax returns for a Nobel Prize winner, a million dollar Lottery winner, professional baseball players, an award winning screen writer, and an award winning music group.
The Alhambra High School class of 1969 will celebrate its 50th class reunion on the weekend of Oct. 18 to 20.
The annual Hallowscream costume contest and trick-or-treating, hosted by Downtown Alhambra, will be moved this year to join the Pumpkin Run Festival.
Everyone is invited to come out and cheer on the various “float” participants and demonstrate their school spirit and support for Alhambra.
