The Chamber of Commerce is the voice of business in the city of Alhambra – it is business’s strongest and most effective advocate, and is a vital link between the city, state, and regional parties of leadership.

Grand Openings / Ribbon Cuttings
Chamber staff will help plan your Grand Opening or Ribbon Cutting Ceremony, for new businesses, expansions, or just celebrating a special event.
The Chamber staff receives many referral requests each week. Business referrals are reserved solely for Chamber members.
Packets of information about the Alhambra area are provided to people and businesses looking to relocate to Alhambra.
Around Alhambra Advertising
Chamber members are offered a substantial discount on newspaper advertising. The Around Alhambra newspaper is published monthly, featuring local news, and distributed to nearly 32,000 households, plus 40 newsracks around the City.
Around Alhambra Inserts
New members get a one-time FREE flyer insertion in the "Around Alhambra” monthly newspaper mailed to Chamber of Commerce members. Approximate mailing is 500. Regular price for Chamber members is $35, $100 for non-Chamber members. Reservations are needed one month prior to insertion. Deadline - Flyers must be in the Chamber office with payment by 5 p.m. on the 25th of the month prior to the desired newsletter insertion date.
Only members are listed in the alphabetical and classified sections of our biannual Alhambra Chamber of Commerce Membership Directory. Copies are distributed to businesses, hotels, realtors, and those requesting information.
Web Site Listing
Chamber members are listed alphabetically and by category on the Chamber Web site. Businesses can also link their listing to their own Web site.

Mailing Labels & Roster
Purchase a set of Chamber membership mailing labels at the discounted rate of $35 for Chamber members, regular price of $100 non-Chamber members.
Business After Hours Mixer
Held on the fourth Wednesday of each month at various businesses throughout Alhambra, these monthly evening network events provide an opportunity to meet other Chamber members on a more informal basis. In addition, hosting these events provides an opportunity to expose your place of business to fellow businesses.
The Chamber holds various events throughout the year to which donations can be made in exchange for company or product promotion. Events include Annual Installation Dinner & Dance, Golf Tournament, Lunar New Year, and Tournament of Roses Luncheon.
Special forums on topics such as check and credit fraud; business emergency preparedness; and financial planning are offered throughout the year.
Chamber staff will help you with special concerns such as codes, signage, city processes, zoning, etc.
Special awards recognize outstanding achievements in business and community.
Members offering other members a discount above and beyond regular discounts.
The Alhambra Chamber of Commerce offers $1,000 scholarships to graduating seniors from local high school. Members who participate in this program receive publicity and promotion in the Around Alhambra newspaper, and with the local schools.
The Government Affairs Committee of the Alhambra Chamber of Commerce is charged with the mission to review City, County, State, and Federal legislation and to analyze its impact on business.
Sponsored by the California Chamber of Commerce, legislative conference calls take place every Thursday at 2:30, in the Chamber boardroom.
