Dante Batimana, who died Jan. 28, served as an event bartender for the Alhambra Chamber of Commerce for over 10 years
The Alhambra Chamber community is saddened by the passing of Chamber family member and friend Dante Bautista Batimana on Jan. 28.
Dante was born on March 22, 1949, in Guam. He was the epitome of the American Dream. He immigrated to the United States in his late teens and passionately worked in numerous professions to provide for his family. Dante served as an event bartender for the Alhambra Chamber of Commerce for over 10 years and had developed wonderful friendships with Chamber staff, members, and guests.
His pleasant energy and positive attitude always brought joy to his surroundings. His friendly warm smile, gentle voice, and charming presence will be very much missed. We thank you, Dante, for all your wonderful contributions and services to the Chamber.
He is survived by his son Danny, daughter Meli, grandson River James, and his beloved pups Cabo and Midnight.
