Tours start at 2 p.m. See the 32 amazing stained glass windows: two created by Tiffany; 25 done by the famous local Judson Studios; and five, from the Willet Studios of Philadelphia, commissioned by the Patton family.
The 150th anniversary dedication ceremony of the church will be at 4 p.m.
The buffet dinner will begin at 5 p.m. Meatloaf, scalloped potatoes, tossed green salad, bread and butter, dessert, and beverages will be served. Afterward, Mr. Read will talk about Don Benito Wilson and the history of the Church of Our Savior.
This is the 10th annual meeting of the Joint Historical Societies, which includes the Ramona Museum of California History, the San Gabriel Historical Association, the Historical Society of Temple City, the Dinsmor Heritage House Cultural Museum of Rosemead, and the Alhambra Historical Society.
